  • [05:46] – Moby shares his story regarding how he ended up starting RedPandas Digital and shift from a corporate role to an agency of his own.  He says that it came from the desire to do things differently. He noticed that the big agencies have very strict processes on the way they do things and he thought he could do it better.
  • [07:15] – Samantha asks Moby what made him decide to create the InboundBuzz podcast. Moby says he wants to be a thought leader and thought leaders have to create content and share it to the world. He also wants to learn more from his guests.
  • [11:22] – Moby says that in terms of leads, the podcast has helped him attract speaking gigs and other events. But more than that, the biggest thing is that he already earns the trust of buyers.

  • [24:20] – Samantha asks Moby to clarify the term Remarketing for listeners.
  • [25:25] – Moby explains that Remarketing for Search works the same as display image ads do but with Google. When people leave your site without buying anything, for example, remarketing for search ads helps you connect with these potential customers when they continue looking for what they need using Google Search.
  • [28:26] – Samantha asks about Kid’s Club and how Moby achieved 350% increase in traffic and leads of 378%. What he did was an execution where he met with the client, did market research, and developed a value proposition. He then created content relevant to their buyer personas – working mums. After some time, their content started ranking and converting.
  • [36:32] – Moby says that his biggest success related to inbound marketing is having the focus on what they do and organic growth with a perfect set of partners. He also says that from a client point of view, his experience with Kid’s Club is his biggest success because he converted the biggest naysayer to a believer in inbound marketing.
  • [38:30] – Moby says “If you know all the terms your personas are searching for, you can build content around that, you can build a business around that, you can find where the watering holes are.”
  •  [40:49] – Moby explains that his biggest mistake related to inbound marketing is trying to be all things to all people and doing too much per client.
