  • [05:00] –  Samantha asks Danny how he started Lucky Orange. Danny says that it started 4 years ago. He and his co-founder looked at how the industry was changing and revisited the technology that they had to provide more value to the website builds his co-founder was building.  Danny says that the perfect example of the changing technology is their Dynamic Heatmapping.

  • [08:30] – Samantha asks Danny about the benefit of having all the features Lucky Orange is offering to someone who is improving his/her website. Danny gives an amazing analogy between a child’s artwork and a website build.  The best way to get into the essence of what your users think is to watch what they do.  Lucky Orange provides real time and historical ways to watch what visitors do remotely, see their behaviors, learn and grow from your observations.

  • [13:00] – Samantha praises to Lucky Orange’s Dashboard in that it gives a detailed overview of data in one user friendly snapshot.
  • [13:54] – Danny says that he wants Lucky Orange to be used by someone who created their first website and they don’t have a team of PhD’s in analytics or lots of time to sift through recordings. They need easily digestible insights so they can go back to doing what makes them money which is managing and running their business.

  • [25:20] – Danny gives another overview of one of Lucky Orange’s other features which is ‘Form Analytics’ where it tells what form fields (eg. opt in forms) are the most abandoned or most completed.
  • [27:23] – Samantha asks Danny on their ‘Chat’ plugin and how it helps with improving a website. Danny explains that the Chat feature allows you to engage with your visitors real time.  You can also see what they are looking at on your website on their screen real time (i.e. how they are using your website to provide enhanced support).

  • [29:55] – Samantha asks for clarification about what the ‘Conversion Funnels’ feature does. Danny explains that it gives you a snapshot of how many people have reached each stage of your funnel eg. Visited Home Page vs Pricing Page vs Checkout page.
  • [32:44] – Samantha asks Danny about Lucky Orange’s other feature which is ‘Polls’. Polls are a small pop up that asks a question to get user feedback. Danny says that Polls is a neat feature where users can submit their feedback in the form of typing in or selecting an option to choose from.

It includes information like the time that most traffic was on the site, where most visitors came from etc.
