Terms of service
Platform terms and service conditions.
Last updated: 20 October 2026. These terms apply to your use of the Inbound Addons website, customer portal and the Integrate Xero and HubSpot service. Part A covers use of the Platform. Part B covers subscriptions to the Service.
Part A: Platform terms of use
1. Outline
1.1These Terms govern your use of and access to the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, you may not use the Platform.
1.2We may change, vary or modify all or part of these Terms at any time, in which case we will post the new Terms on the Platform and they will apply to your use of and access to the Platform by your subsequent or continued use of the Platform. We will make reasonable efforts to tell you about significant changes by email or through the Service.
1.3It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for changes. If you object to any variation to these Terms, your only remedy is to immediately discontinue your use of the Platform.
1.4By using the Platform, you affirm that you are 18 years or over, or you otherwise have legal parental or guardian consent, and that you are authorised to enter into these Terms on behalf of the business you represent.
1.5As long as you comply with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to enter and use the Platform.
2. Privacy
2.1Our Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Platform and the Services.
2.2We may change the Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on the Platform.
3. Access to the Platform
3.1Your access to the Platform may be suspended without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair, or any reason beyond our control.
3.2Except as expressly provided otherwise in the Terms, we reserve the right to change or discontinue any website, page, functionality, feature or service on the Platform at any time.
3.3The Platform contains Content that is protected by our Intellectual Property Rights and those belonging to third parties. Except as expressly provided in the Terms, you do not have any right, title or interest in, or right of use of, any Content on the Platform.
4. The Service and your connected accounts
4.1The Service connects your HubSpot account to your Xero organisation or organisations and, based on the settings you choose, creates and updates Xero invoices from HubSpot deals or invoices and syncs related information such as payments.
4.2You authorise us to access your HubSpot and Xero accounts, using the permissions you approve when you connect them, to provide the Service. You are responsible for the permissions you grant, for your HubSpot and Xero accounts, and for keeping those accounts and your subscriptions to them in good standing. Your use of HubSpot and Xero is governed by their own terms.
4.3You are responsible for your integration settings, including the tax treatment, accounts, tax rates, invoice status and other values used on the invoices created, and for checking that invoices are correct before they are issued to your customers. Where you choose to have invoices approved or emailed automatically, they are issued without further review.
4.4The Service is a software tool. We do not provide accounting, tax, financial or legal advice.
4.5The Service depends on the availability of, and changes to, HubSpot, Xero and other third-party systems that we do not control. We are not responsible for outages, limits or changes made by those providers.
5. Registration of users
5.1To access or use certain parts of the Platform you must register as a user and open an account.
5.2When registering, you must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, provide a form of identification to verify your identity if we ask, and tell us of any changes.
5.3You must not register as a user multiple times using one email address, or impersonate or create a registration for any person other than yourself.
5.4As a registered user you must keep your sign-in details, including any password, sign-in codes and sign-in links, secure and confidential, tell us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use, not use the Service for any improper purpose, and not allow your details to be used by or transferred to any other person.
5.5You are responsible for all activity under your user details if you fail to keep them secure.
5.6We may suspend or terminate your use of or access to all or any part of the Platform, and delete your data and your HubSpot and Xero access tokens, if we believe you are abusing the Platform, have breached these Terms (including Part A, clause 6), or are no longer an active user. If we do so, we may delete or remove access to your data, including invoice information held on the Platform, and refuse you future access.
6. Acceptable use
6.1You must not, without our prior written consent:
- use the Platform in breach of any applicable laws or regulations, or for any unlawful purpose;
- use the Platform to send junk mail, unsolicited messages or spam, to impersonate any person or entity, or to harm, abuse, harass or threaten others;
- upload or transmit anything that infringes another person's rights, is false, misleading or deceptive, is defamatory or offensive, or contains viruses or code designed to disrupt software or hardware;
- copy, store, alter, reproduce, republish, distribute, frame or mirror any part of the Platform or Content, other than as the Service is designed to be used;
- use any automated device, scraper, robot or script to access the Platform other than through interfaces we provide;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or our systems or networks, or probe, scan or test their vulnerability, or breach any security or authentication measures;
- interfere with or disrupt the Platform or any other person's use of it, or place an undue burden on it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, modify, adapt, sublicense, translate, sell or otherwise disassemble any part of the Platform, or cause anyone else to do so; or
- remove any attribution or legal or proprietary notice on the Platform.
6.2You may use Content and information we make available on the Platform for your own internal business purposes only, without removing proprietary notices or modifying it, unless we give written consent otherwise.
7. Your data
7.1As between you and us, you own the data you provide or that the Service handles on your behalf from your HubSpot and Xero accounts ("Your Data").
7.2You give us a non-exclusive licence to access, copy, process and store Your Data only as needed to provide the Service to you, to keep it secure, to provide support and as required by law, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7.3You warrant that you are entitled to give us access to Your Data, including personal information about other people, and that doing so does not breach any law or any person's rights.
7.4You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of Your Data and the information you provide to us. We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by inaccurate or incomplete information in your HubSpot or Xero accounts.
7.5We may monitor use of the Platform and store or disclose information we collect to investigate compliance with these Terms or in response to a lawful request from police or a government authority.
8. Third-party features
8.1The Platform may display links to websites and services operated by third parties. They are not under our control and we do not endorse them or accept any responsibility for them. You use them at your own risk.
8.2Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your use of its services is subject to its terms, and we are not responsible for its services or for information you provide through its payment pages.
8.3You must not link to the Platform from any other website in a way that implies endorsement or association without our prior written consent. This does not prevent ordinary links to our public pages.
9. Content disclaimer
9.1Except where expressly stated, Content on the Platform is general information only and is not advice. You should make your own inquiries and take independent advice tailored to your circumstances before making decisions.
9.2You acknowledge and agree that:
- transmissions over the internet are never completely private or secure;
- we are not responsible for any other user's use of or conduct on the Platform;
- the Platform and its Content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis;
- while we use reasonable endeavours to keep the Platform available, we do not warrant that access will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that use of the Platform will produce specific results; and
- subject to your rights under law, your remedy for dissatisfaction with the Platform is to stop using it.
10. Exclusions and limitations
10.1To the fullest extent permitted by law, all express or implied representations, conditions, statutory guarantees, warranties and provisions relating to these Terms that are not contained in them are excluded.
10.2No warranty is given and we will not be liable for alterations to the Platform not made by us, damage or failure caused by unusual or non-recommended use, updates to browsers, operating systems or third-party APIs (including the HubSpot and Xero APIs) that render features unstable or unusable, or loss caused by factors beyond our control.
10.3To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any special, indirect, consequential or economic loss or damage, or loss of profits, suffered by you or any other person (in contract, tort or otherwise) arising from any act or omission by us.
11. Notice of infringement
11.1If you think the Platform has been accessed or used by another user in breach of these Terms, or you wish to give us a copyright infringement notification, email support@inboundaddons.com. A copyright notice must identify the content you believe infringes your copyright, the copyright work and how it is infringed, and include your contact information.
12. General
12.1Indemnity. You indemnify us against all damages, losses, costs and expenses (including legal costs) we incur as a result of your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Platform or the Services.
12.2Force majeure. If a Force Majeure Event occurs we may suspend all or part of the Platform for as long as we are prevented or hindered from providing it, and extend the time for performing our obligations as is reasonable.
12.3Assignment. We may assign, transfer or sub-contract our rights or obligations under these Terms. You may not do so without our prior written consent.
12.4Severability and waiver. If any clause is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in full force. A delay or failure by us to exercise a right does not prevent us from exercising it later.
12.5Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia.
Part B: Service conditions
13. Outline
13.1These Service Conditions apply to the supply of Services by us to you from when you accept these Terms.
13.2You accept these Terms when you start a trial, submit a Subscription Order, accept delivery of any part of our Services, or make any Payment to us, whichever occurs first.
14. Trial and subscriptions
14.1Free trial. We offer a 14-day free trial of the Service, with no payment details required to start. One trial is available per organisation. When your trial ends, you need a paid subscription to keep using the Service.
14.2Plans. Subscriptions are offered on the plans shown on our website and on the HubSpot Marketplace (currently Starter, Growth and Scale). All plans include the same standard features and unlimited users. Plans differ by the monthly invoice allowance and the number of Xero organisations you can connect. If you need more than your plan allows, we may offer custom pricing.
14.3Billing period. You can subscribe monthly or annually. A subscription continues for further periods of the same length until cancelled.
14.4Upgrades. You can upgrade to a higher plan from your Billing page. An upgrade takes effect straight away, your renewal date does not change, and we charge the prorated difference for the rest of the current period through Stripe. To downgrade or change between monthly and annual billing, contact support.
14.5Allowance. Your plan includes a monthly invoice allowance. We may contact you if you are approaching or exceeding it and ask you to upgrade or move to a custom plan.
14.6Confirmation. A Subscription Order is not binding until we confirm it. Our confirmation process is automated and instant, and a receipt is issued when a payment is processed.
15. Price
15.1Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are the amounts we show on the Platform when you place your Subscription Order. Taxes such as GST may apply where required by law.
15.2We may change our prices. Changes to the price of an existing subscription take effect from your next renewal, and we will give you notice before they apply. Subject to your rights under law, we may also vary the price if you vary your Subscription Order.
16. Payment
16.1Payments are made in advance for the period of your subscription, by credit or debit card through Stripe.
16.2Failure to pay. If a payment fails or you do not pay an amount due, we may suspend the Service until all amounts outstanding are paid in full.
16.3Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support@inboundaddons.com. You remain liable for payment for the current period, and the Service will end when the prepaid period ends. Nothing in this clause limits any right you have under law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
17. Exclusions and limitations
17.1No warranty is given and we will not be liable for alterations to the Services for which we are not responsible, defects caused by accidents, unusual or non-recommended use, misuse, hacks, cyber-attacks by third parties, errors in third-party systems or loss caused by factors beyond our control.
17.2To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for special, indirect, consequential or economic loss or damage, or loss of profits, resulting from any act or omission by us or from your use of the Platform.
17.3Subject to all existing Australian laws, our total liability to you (however arising) is limited, at our option, to the re-supply of the Services or equivalent Services, or to a payment equal to the price of one month's subscription to the Service (for annual subscriptions, one-twelfth of the annual price).
17.4We give no warranty for services supplied by a third party, including HubSpot, Xero and Stripe, even where they form part of your use of the Service.
18. Statutory rights
18.1Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any condition, warranty, statutory guarantee, right or remedy implied or imposed by law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
18.2If section 23 of the ACL applies to any provision of these Terms, that provision is void to the extent it is unfair within the meaning of section 24 of the ACL.
19. Intellectual property and confidentiality
19.1All of our Intellectual Property Rights in and relating to the production, development and supply of the Services remain our property.
19.2Each party must keep confidential, and not use except to perform these Terms, any confidential information communicated by the other party without the other party's prior written consent.
20. Ending the Service and your data
20.1When your subscription ends or you ask us to delete your account, we will handle Your Data as set out in our Privacy Policy, including deleting your HubSpot and Xero access tokens and your settings, queues, caches and logs within 30 days of your written request, except where we must keep records by law.
20.2Ending the Service does not delete invoices already created in your Xero account or information already in your HubSpot account.
21. General
